Sometimes I miss the player creativity aspect of D&D. My current group enjoys the game immensely, but they rarely stray from the powers and feats that the rules provide them with. Usually.
Last night our party were faced with a 10 hour desert trek. It was blisteringly hot and there was no cover to speak of. Our wizard, Kallista, performed the Tensers Floating Disk ritual, twice. The first she rode on. The second she had floating just above her head, and she turned it opaque, like a magical parasol.
Applause.
Excellent use of magic. Give that player a gold star.
Actually, I married her!
